UNAI is the new name for Elucidata Limited- the company rebranded in November 2019 when this post was updated.
Elucidata, a Bristol-based software company, today announced that it has joined the business incubator, SETsquared. The company, which specialises in providing software to companies with complex data science challenges, joined the organisation in response to a period of fast growth fuelled by a range of healthcare clients working on personalised medicine. The SETsquared Partnership is the global number one business incubator and enterprise partnership, and a collaboration between five research-intensive universities: Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey.
Commenting on the decision to apply to SETsquared Director Will Hardman said “We have enjoyed a period of growth over the past two years as the company has evolved its offering and we are now servicing a massive range of exciting projects. We were impressed with how SETsquared has supported other businesses in region, helping them to navigate the challenges of rapid scale and concentrate on building resilient, profitable and well governed businesses. We’re proud to strengthen our company with the expertise of the mentors and training SETsquared provides.”
Monika Radclyffe, Centre Director for SETsquared Bristol added “Elucidata is an ideal candidate for our program. They have a strong software engineering capability within the team and they have been well positioned in the market. It’s great to include more established businesses like Elucidata in the SETsquared family, demonstrating how we can support a range of businesses from one person academic spin-outs to companies to SMEs which have been around for several years, each with their own challenges, but with the same ambition to grow their businesses.”
